The King Debates are oral presentations, set in 21^st Century context, on the social issues Dr. King addressed. Using King’s speeches and writings, student teams of two (2) debate the affirmative or negative to pre-determined topics in ways that educate, raise awareness, and maintain King’s legacy of conversation toward social change.
