We are here to partner with you!
Partnership begins with finding common ground. There is one thing all Alaskans have in common: An interest in a healthy, productive, state.
We understand that state health is not merely economical, but includes the social, civil, and moral well-being of communities, and those that play, live, learn, work, and build within them. Dr. King once said: “People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they have not communicated with each other.”
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Foundation does not believe in working in silos – no man is an island. Rather, we value corporate relationships, resource sharing, and dialogue with the diverse groups within Anchorage and beyond, to foster communication that nurtures knowing, and that eliminates fear.
We are here to foster relationships that form familiarities, that dispel the discords of social distancing, and that form a context for understanding among organizations and groups – an understanding that contributes to the healthy communities, city, and state, we all desire to enjoy.
